Due to their inter-relationship, the three strands of the curriculum are linked in their delivery.
At Key Stage 3, Careers and Citizenship lessons concentrate on investigating a variety of Local, National and International issues:
The British Legal System
Human Rights
The Media
The British Political System
Charities
There are guest speakers and a visit to The Houses of Parliament and London Dungeon in order to provide context to the Political and Legal systems.
At Key Stage 3, investigations into a variety of possible career options and pathways are linked to the topics above.
The Options process is a vital aspect of the programme and enables students to make informed decisions as to their curriculum choices at the end of Key Stage 3.
The school offers a comprehensive range of courses both in school and as Work Related programmes linked with local colleges and training providers.
