Aim to inform, educate, empower and provide support to parents and carers of children and young people with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), adults with ADD, and those working within the professional field.
Dorset ADHD Support Group is run by volunteers. Dorset ADHD Chat room where you can ‘chat’ with other parents, carers and professionals online Monday's from 8.30pm onwards.
We meet on a regular monthly basis -- all are welcome. We distribute a quarterly printed newsletter to our membership, and we also have a library of books and video available for borrowing. We can provide training for professionals regarding the appropriate support of people who have ADHD. We can provide advocacy for parents and carers of children and for adults with ADHD.
