DofE 2021 has launched!

The Duke of Edinburgh Scheme is the world’s largest youth achievement award, giving millions of 14-24 year olds the opportunity to be the very best they can be.  From volunteering to physical activities, life skills to expeditions, achieving a DofE Award is a passport to a brighter future, valued by employers and universities. At The Gryphon we can support students to gain their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.

This week we have launched the Duke of Edinburgh scheme for 2021 and students can enrol now!

Mr Cooke has sent out emails to the various year groups and existing DofE groups. We are planning to enrol students now and then help them get started on the three sections,  Volunteering, Physical and Skills.

If you are interested in signing up you can enrol by contacting Mr Cooke:

Current Year 8 – Bronze.

Current Year 9 – Silver.

Current Year 10 – Gold.

Bronze and Silver can start on 1st August if they enrol now.

We won’t be going out on expeditions until is safe to do so but there are many things students can do towards their award before then.
