French students visit The Gryphon

On Wednesday we received a visit from a group of French students from the Sherborne Girls’ summer school. The French young people joined us for a couple of lessons and ran group activities with some of our Year 9 and Year 7 students. They were very able and took charge of their groups with confidence, good humour and a very positive approach. We were most impressed by our young visitors and the relationships they were able to build in such a short space of time. We look forward to hearing from their teachers in the near future and hope to create more opportunities to work together.
