Hot Weather

In response to the predicted national heatwave, students will be permitted to wear shorts to school on Monday 18th July and Tuesday 19th July in combination with the normal white Gryphon polo shirt.

These shorts must be shorts that would be appropriate to be worn in PE lessons. These must be loose fitting not skin tight shorts; any student wearing shorts deemed to be inappropriate will be asked to wear track suit bottoms provided by the school.

Wednesday 20th July is Sports Day and students are expected to wear their PE kit, in the colours of their tutor group country. Thursday 21st July is the final day of term and is a non-school uniform day, raising money for the Rendez-Vous. £1 donations can be paid online via Wisepay or brought in on the day.

From next May, the Governors have agreed that students will have the choice to wear tailored school shorts, which will be able to be purchased from the usual school uniform outlets.
