Parents’ Information Session

Representatives from the Dorset Parent-Carer Council have kindly agreed to present an informal information session for parents of students within the Sherborne pyramid of schools. It will be open to all parents but it will be particularly useful for parents whose children are currently either Statemented or at SEN Support (formerly School Action Plus) on the SEN Register. The Parent-Carer Council offers a wide-ranging free advice service for families in Dorset.

The talk will be held on Wednesday 24th June at 6.30pm in the Conference Centre at The Gryphon School.  It will give an overview of the new SEND Reforms and will explain topics such as the new Education and Health Care Plans which will support students until they are 25, the Local Offer, and give an idea of the type of support that can be expected.

If you would like to attend, please contact Sarah Carroll on 01935 810139 or email by Wednesday 17th June 2015.
