Year 8 trip to France

The Year 8 students had a wonderful time in Normandy earlier this month where they visited Le Mont Saint Michel, the Aquarium in St Malo, learned about the production and making of goats cheese at a local farm and visited the French market in Fougères.

Our trip inevitably included the eating of crêpes and also tasting of snails – for those who wished to! On the last day students discovered all the details about the Battle of Hastings from the Tapestry in Bayeux.
