 Teaching School Alliance Lead

Full-time, permanent non-teaching role (flexible alternatives will be considered)

We are seeking someone with vision, high quality leadership experience, a proven track record of managing projects, able to enthuse and engage others and a passion for education and learning. The successful applicant will work with senior leaders and staff across the schools, universities, training providers and with the NCTL.

Location: Based at the Gryphon School, Sherborne,Dorset

Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 per annum (subject to experience)

Reporting to: Chair of the Teaching School

Start: As soon as available

Nursery Assistant & Nursery Apprentice

NURSERY ASSISTANT – 25 hours Permanent Contract

Grade 3 (£15,246 – £16,123 FTE depending on hours and experience)

Applicants should have experience of working in an early years setting and be qualified to a Level 3 diploma or equivalent in Early Years Care and Education.

You should be motivated and flexible, willing to work across the Nursery where required and able to work under your own initiative as post holders will have responsibility for a group of children.

APPRENTICESHIP – EARLY YEARS : LEVEL 2/3

National Apprenticeship hourly rates apply

Become an apprentice in our friendly nursery working with children aged from birth to five years. You will be working towards a Level 2/3 apprenticeship in Childcare, earning whilst you are learning.
As an Apprentice, you will work alongside our qualified staff. You will be assigned a mentor to help and support you to complete your training successfully.

Applicants should ideally have experience in an Early Years setting, and if applying for a level 3 position have achieved their NVQ level 2 or equivalent. GCSE Maths and English at C grade or above is preferred though not essential.

Lunchtime Supervisors

6.25 or 11.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Permanent

£7.78 per hour (£2,339 or £4,210 actual) term time only plus retainer and lunch allowanc

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, responsible and reliable lunchtime supervisors to join our friendly, hard-working team to undertake a range of duties supporting our students in the dining hall and play areas at break and/or lunchtime.
