If your son/daughter wishes to be considered for a place in Year 7 from September 2021, please:
Parents have a right to appeal against the decision not to offer their child a place at The Gryphon School. If you wish to appeal you can download a form which can be found at www.dorsetforyou.com/educ/admissions under frequently asked questions. Alternatively, you can obtain one by contacting School Admissions.
If you wish your child’s name to be considered should any places become available, write to School Admissions, County Hall, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ. Please note the waiting list will be held until the end of December each year preceding that of school entry and after that you will need to contact the caseworker to discuss your options on 01305 221060 or via admissions@dorsetcc.gov.uk
Admission confirmation will be sent to you direct from County Hall.

Contact The Gryphon School to discuss the admission process with one of our Senior Teachers and to arrange a visit.
