Gryphon School: Sherborne

The Gryphon is continually looking for new and innovative ways to further improve the quality of teaching and learning on offer to our students. As part of this, a focus on e-learning has become a central component of the school’s wider vision over the last six years and we have been working hard on the iGryphon project.  The iGryphon project aims to provide students, parents / carers with access to all of our high quality learning resources online, as well as being able to access our Parent and Student portals. Each portal gives access to everything you should need to oversee your child’s education, including parents evening bookings, learning resources, virtual learning platforms, email, Office 365 apps, behaviour and attendance.  By accessing the student portal, students have free access to the Microsoft Office suite of applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  They can also access their school work and resources from home.

We help facilitate e-learning by having freely accessible WiFi around the school which allows students to connect to a range of wireless services, such as their school workspace and a range of specialist software, as well as utilising our wireless printing services.

If students need help with their mobile device, access to the portal or any other IT issues, they can visit the IT Technicians in school, or email  Parents should also use this email address to contact IT support for Parent Portal issues.

To log in to the parents or staff portal from home, use the Intranet link at the top of the page or click here.
