Students can access their files, learning resources, support pages and much more via their very own ‘Student Portal’. This is accessible via the main Gryphon School website – just click on ‘Student Portal’ at the top of the website. From here students also have access to Microsoft Teams (Homework), Seneca, Sparx and other learning platforms. They can also access Arbor, check their school email and see information such as extracurricular clubs – all from the Student Portal. They will need their school username and password.
As parents you have an Arbor account which you can use to track their child’s behaviour, attendance and termly reports. You can also view student timetables through the Arbor App. To access Arbor go to the link above.
You will receive a weekly email detailing your child’s homework assignments. This will arrive in your inbox each Sunday. It will detail all upcoming homework assignments for each subject.
Students should log into Teams to complete their homework. If your child is struggling to access Microsoft Teams from home then please contact us and we will endeavour to support you with this.
Students may be set homework via online learning platforms such as Sparx Maths, Seneca Learning, Smart Revise, Track My Read and more. Instructions for these homeworks will be visible on Teams and students should know their username and password for these platforms. If there are any problems logging into specific learning platforms, please contact the teacher

To help your child be ready to learn, they should have the following items in their pencil case: pens, pencil, ruler, rubber, highlighter, glue stick, and calculator. For a full list of expected equipment please click here.
Students can earn positive behaviour points for demonstrating our 4 core values: Leadership, Integrity, Fellowship and Exploration. Students can use their reward points to purchase items from the Praise Shop.
Students make their GCSE choices in Year 9 in the winter term. Information about GCSE choices will be shared with parents and students in an assembly and Parent Forum.
